Omega Speedmaster Professional

Dedicated to the Apollo 11 40th Anniversary when Neil Armstrong took the first step on the moon at 02.56 GMT July 21st, 1969, this is a limited edition of 7,969 pieces world-wide.  The Omega Speedmaster Professional Gent’s 311.30.42.30.01.002 artfully memorializes every detail about this eventful moment in history.

A lovely homage to Apollo 11, this watch features a black dial with 02:56 GMT prominently displayed in red text.  The Speedmaster Professional is tastefully presented in a black box with a full medallion and a certificate of authenticity.

Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock features a medallion of the Apollo mission patch logo, 30 minute counter sub-dial at 3 o’clock and a 12 hour counter sub-dial at the 6’oclock position.

The case is stainless steel as well as the bracelet which is brushed and polished with a push button fold-over clasp.

Chronograph/stop watch function featuring a large red-tipped seconds counter hand.  Case diameter is 42mm, thickness is 14.3mm and it comes with a 2 year warranty.   Case back is engraved with the Apollo mission patch and the words “The First Watch Worn On The Moon – July 21, 1969 and your unique number in the series.

Featuring a tachymeter with a graduated chronograph dial on which speed is measured in kilometers per hour based on 1000 meters distance.  With the famous manual winding chronograph movement, a fixed bezel and a Hesalite crystal it is water resistant to 50m or 165 feet.  Rhodium plated finish.  Omega Caliber: 1861, beats at 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 48 hours.
