The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Chronometer Men’s Watch Model # 231.10.42.21.06.001 has been a most enthusiastically awaited launch with it unusual design feature “Teck Concept” dials that emulate the wooden planks of a boat.  You can almost feel the salt spray on your face.

True to their commitment to the sea with the Aqua Terra Collection, Omega has fashioned two case sizes, 41.5mm and 38.5mm.  The 41.5mm case is driven by Omega’s Co-Axial caliber 8500/8501 movement.  The 38.5 case has the option of the same Co-Axial movement or Omega quartz caliber 1538.  The smaller size is popular among women.

The 41.5mm case comes in 18ct red gold, stainless steel or a blend of the two metals in both the case and the bracelets.  An alligator strap is offered in the 18 ct red gold option.

The 18ct gold and blended models have grey Teck Concept dials with vertical lines.  Stainless steel comes with either Teck grey or Teck opaline silver dials.  The 18ct red gold watch has brushed and polished hands and hour markers in matching metal.  The stainless steel version comes with brushed and polished 18ct white gold hands and hour markers.  On both models the hands and hour markers are coated with SuperLumiNova.

Day of the month is displayed at 3 or 6 o’clock.  It features a chronometer which is COSC certified.  The case back is transparent to display its movements.  Power reserve:  60 hours.

Sapphire domed crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.  Case is steel on steel and is water resistant to 150m or 500 feet.  Caliber:  Omega 8500.
