Omega DeVille Co-Axial Chronoscope

The Omega DeVille Co-Axial Chronoscope Gents #422.10.44.52.13.001  was inspired by the Rattrapante collection and is a part of the DeVille family of watches.  The black dial alone is a work of art with its masterfully designed triplet Chronoscopes.  Rhodium plated finish and gold plated engravings nicely contrast.

With three-dimensional light catching hour and minute markers the face will be sure to be a conversation piece.  The attention to detail is remarkable; with a 30-minute recorder at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour counter with a double arc window at 6 o’clock and a continuous seconds counter at 9 o’clock.

The ‘truncated sector’ date window is positioned between 11 and 12 o’clock offering at-a-glance legibility showing the preceding and following dates if the hands are over the current date.  This watch can even identify months with 30 or 31 days.

Luminous hour and minute hands as well as a red-tipped chronograph hand can be read even in the poorest of light.  GMT function making one full rotation in 24 hours and a 24 hour index on the dial, this second hour hand can be used for those keeping track of two different time zones.

Self-winding Caliber: 3603 reduces friction in the escapement providing enhanced readability and accuracy.  This movement was first used in the DeVille line.

Column-wheel chronographs are the finest movements guaranteeing a smooth start of the second hand sweep when the chronograph is activated.  Precision stop and reset functions independent from the watch’s major timekeeping function.

Featuring a 44mm case with domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal both on the front and back of the watch and a transparent case back with anti-reflective coating on both sides.  Chronometer certified by COSC.  Water-resistant to 100m or 330 feet, this boldly masculine design will provide a power reserve of 55 hours.
