Omega Watches Brings Back The Speedmaster Moonwatch

In order to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Moon landing of Apollo 11, Omega watches offers the limited edition Speedmaster.  This ultra-modern version of the original Speedmaster watch, worn on the Apollo 11 missions, is equipped with all the necessary Omega Speedmaster features.  It is crafted with a stainless-steel 42mm case, which has a water resistance rating of 167 feet, and comes with a self winding 1861 Omega automatic movement, with moving components.  The dial on the limited edition timepiece features a rhodium finished second hand and is covered by a Hesalite crystal.

There are exactly 7,968 of the Omega Moon watches available, and every one of them will be individually stamped with the exact timing of the Apollo 11 landing.  In addition, there is a special version of the mission’s patch, which is placed on the sub dial at the 9 o’clock setting.

The original Omega watch was chosen for its durability and versatility.  These Omega watches were the only ones, which could withstand the extreme conditions of outer space and NASA put them through extensive testing, before clearing them for takeoff.

The Omega limited edition men’s watch will not disappoint, and will be a prized possession for any serious collector.  Price available, soon.
